Friends of Jesus Preschool, located in Zion Lutheran Church since 1978, has been providing a nurturing environment where children feel safe to learn and grow.

Relationships

We seek to understand and grow with each family that sends their student to FOJ. Our class sizes are small to help us give quality time to students and families. We are also supported by a loving congregation of believers in Christ, and part of the larger community of Kalamazoo.

 

 Ministry

​

Friends of Jesus Preschool is a Christ-centered preschool. Each student is a unique child of God, which we reinforce through chapel, Bible stories, prayers, and songs. We also learn about service and how to love our neighbor through various service projects.

Environment

At Friends of Jesus we provide an atmosphere conducive to learning while also being fun, safe, clean, and inviting. Our classrooms are well equipped for many different styles of learning. We have a large outdoor play space and have taken field trips in the past. We follow LARA Guidelines (Michigan Regulations) which can be found at https://www.michigan.gov/lara/
